Senator Gary Stevens requested that the reconsideration on SENATE                                   
CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 97(FIN) be taken up. The bill                                          
was before the Senate on reconsideration.                                                           
                                                                                                    
The question to be reconsidered: "Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR                                        
HOUSE BILL NO. 97(FIN) "An Act relating to the authority to take                                    
oaths, affirmations, and acknowledgments in the state, to notarizations,                            
to verifications, to acknowledgments, to fees for issuing certificates                              
with the seal of the state affixed, and to notaries public; and providing                           
for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the

Senator Gary Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                     
vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective
