The bill was before the Senate on reconsideration. The question to be reconsidered: "Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 97(FIN) "An Act relating to the authority to take oaths, affirmations, and acknowledgments in the state, to notarizations, to verifications, to acknowledgments, to fees for issuing certificates with the seal of the state affixed, and to notaries public; and providing for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 97(FIN) Third Reading - On Reconsideration Effective Dates YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Ellis, Elton, French, Green, Guess, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, Olson, Seekins, Stedman, Stevens B, Stevens G, Therriault, Wagoner, Wilken Excused: Bunde and so, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 97(FIN) passed the Senate on reconsideration. 2005-05-10 Senate Journal Page 1559 Senator Gary Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clauses. Without objection, it was so ordered and the bill was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
